Microsoft has over 80 retail shops around the world, but none of them looks like the company's new flagship shop in London. It is located in the heart of Oxford Circus, the world-famous intersection of Regent Street and Oxford Street, Europe's busiest shopping street. The building selected by Microsoft is listed and protected by English heritage, so it has unique historical features.
Among unique historical features were lead windows and ceilings from the 1920s which were covered by previous tenants. We helped Microsoft to restore the beautiful windows and ceilings. The pillars were also made to create a unique environment of modern technology inside the building, which withstood the Blitz during the Second World War.
After discussion with the client and understanding of the tasks, deadlines were set for work to be carried out. This also involved compliance with safety measures and their strict implementation. The client required that the work sequence be followed and that weekly reports be submitted for each type of work performed.
In the course of our work, we identified errors in drawings which resulted in huge savings in money and time for the client. Thanks to our vast experience, we were able to save construction materials without compromising on the quality of work and safety.
Thanks to the well-organized work of our team, the construction project was delivered on time in strict accordance with the construction drawings. We have received great thanks from the client for solving and completing complex volumes of work and excellent performance.
